            Today we played our fourth game which was a home game against JIS, played afterschool at 3:30 pm. This time, we were able to beat JIS though only slightly, and still have to clean up on our efficiency in playing as a team.

            Today we had practice as usual and are preparing for a fourth game, that will take place tomorrow afterschool. We practiced some drills today and played against each other in teams.

            Today we played the third game of the league against Sekolah Tiara Bangsa (STB) at 9:00 in the morning. It was a home game, and we came at about 8:30 and warmed up before playing the game which consisted of two 15 minute halves, as is the style used by the league we are joining. We lost today’s game, but we know that we can do better in the future.

            We finally received our new jerseys with the new design that all the sports teams are wearing this year. Previous to this, at games we would use the older team jerseys that we owned. Thankfully, I still had my jersey from when I joined the basketball team in grade 9. Those who did not have a jersey would borrow jerseys from people who had previously joined the basketball team but were no longer joining it. Overall, it is very nice to finally have our official team jerseys.

            After the jerseys were handed out today, those who were able to come to practice went to practice, including myself. We did a number of different drills as usual. With the smaller number of people present at practice today, I felt that practice was more effective.

We have just recently returned back to school, and will soon have more games to play as part of the league that we join. At today’s practice, we practiced shooting and drills. We are preparing after the long break to get ready to paly more games for the league.

Creativity: Piano Lessons

            At today’s lesson, I played the Bach pieces again. In playing no. 12, I still need to work on playing it faster, and still need to work on accuracy, as I still mess up with the notes as the song progresses and often have pauses in my playing. I need to paly no. 5 slower, so I can focus on getting the notes and tempo correct first, so that I don’t play fast for some parts and slow on others. I again played the rondo piece from Dussek’s sonatina, as well as played Humoreske again, which I still have to work on.
