Action: School Basketball Team

Today, we practiced some plays such as stack and boxing out, in preparation for a game that we have coming up very soon. These plays should help use to play better in a real game situation and to play better as a team. After learning the paly, we played a game at the end of team, dividing into teams. If a person on one of the teams made a mistake, then the team would be switched out for another team, or individual people were switched out to give everyone a chance to play.

Service: Teaching English Club

There was work that I had to do today after, which prevented me from coming to the English Club meeting at the appointed time. When I did arrive at the meeting, the various house teams had just finished another practice at debating a motion, with the use of speakers and the like. I feel that they are beginning to get the hang of debating, and are becoming more comfortable with it, even if many of them still feel quite awkward about it.

Action: School Basketball Team

As I missed practice on Tuesday, I made up for it by coming to practice this Friday. We spent most of the practice time doing lay-up related drills, such as passing the ball to a person, who later passed back to us, and then doing a lay-up. We also did more shooting practice, shooting freely from where we wanted. We also played a short game at the end of practice, dividing into teams.
